Following a briefing on the border gate's master plan, infrastructure system, logistics facilities and functional zones, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh said that gaining a comprehensive understanding of Tianbao Border Gate's planning and customs clearance capacity would provide an important basis for Tuyen Quang to review and refine its own development plans and report to the Prime Minister. The goal, he noted, is to develop a practical and well-connected border economic zone capable of promoting trade and socio-economic development.

He requested relevant provincial agencies to assess market demand and identify opportunities for Tuyen Quang's key agricultural and forestry products to access the Chinese market through the border gate. He also emphasized the need to improve transport connectivity between the province's industrial parks and border routes, while streamlining import-export procedures to facilitate trade activities, support local businesses and enhance competitiveness.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh also called for closer cooperation between authorities of Malipo County and Wenshan Prefecture and Tuyen Quang Province in facilitating customs clearance and cross-border trade. He encouraged both sides to strengthen cultural and people-to-people exchanges, promote cooperation among tourism enterprises, and jointly develop cross-border tourism products and routes.
He also proposed greater cooperation in preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic minority communities, while expanding exchanges among border residents in order to foster friendship, mutual understanding and sustainable development in border areas.
